About the event
Salsa, cumbia and son played live by a nine-piece band — Grupo Candela bring the late-afternoon heat to the Culture Stage on Saturday. Their sets are made for dancing, and the floor in front of the stage usually fills within the first song.
The first twenty minutes include a short salsa lesson for beginners, led by two dancers from the band. No partner needed; you will swap every few minutes anyway. The Culture Stage is covered, so the show goes on whatever the weather does. Free entry.
