The festival takes place in the middle of town, which is the whole point and also the reason to leave the car at home. Everything below is a ten-minute walk from the Main Square.
By train
Central Station is 900 metres from the Main Square Stage — straight down the main avenue, signposted from the platform. Regional trains run every twenty minutes until 23:00 and hourly after that. On the Sunday the last connections leave around 01:00.
By tram and bus
Lines 2, 4 and 11 stop at Markt, right at the north entrance. During the festival the city runs a night service on all three lines, every thirty minutes until 03:00. Your festival ticket is not a travel ticket — buy a day pass at the machine, it is cheaper than two singles.
By bike
Six hundred supervised bike parking spaces at the east entrance, free, staffed from 10:00 until 02:00. The riverside path is closed to through traffic for the weekend and becomes the fastest way in from the south.
By car
The city centre is closed to traffic from Thursday at 06:00. Park and ride is signposted from both motorway exits; the shuttle runs every fifteen minutes and is included in the parking fee. There are twelve accessible parking spaces at the west entrance — see accessibility.
