The festival is put together by about thirty people who do it alongside their actual jobs, plus two hundred volunteers over the weekend. There is room for more of all of it.
Five ways in
Volunteer — three shifts over the weekend, from building the stages to handing out programmes. Food, a shirt and the last drink together once the square is empty.
Food and market traders — ten stands, reusable crockery, local ingredients. Applications open in January.
Play the festival — the programme is half invited and half applied for. Two of the five stages are curated from the open call.
Sponsor us — ten companies make the free half of the festival possible. There are four ways to do it and one of them is cheap.
Press — accreditation, photographs, interviews, and a press room with working wifi.
Or just ask
If none of those fit and you still want to help, write to us. Every year someone turns up with an idea nobody on the team had, and some of those ideas are now fixtures.
