As the light goes golden, the Street Stage slows down. The Street Jazz Quartet play standards and their own tunes in the old style — saxophone, trumpet, double bass and a drummer who mostly uses brushes — exactly the soundtrack for an early evening drink.
Their Saturday set runs for ninety minutes, with a short break in the middle. The wine and tapas stand is a few steps away, so this is a good place to settle in before the evening programme on the Main Square begins. Free entry.
